If you are interested in JSwiff software, you have two licensing options: use, modify and distribute the software freely under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL), or purchase a commercial license.
If you are an open source developer, the GPL licensing option is your best bet, as you don't have to pay anything to get, use, modify or distribute the software.
However, there are some restrictions regarding this licensing option. Please note that software derived from JSwiff must also be made available under the GPL. If this is not acceptable to you, please consider acquiring a commercial license.
Make sure that you carefully read and understand the GNU General Public License before using JSwiff software.
If you intend to use JSwiff software for proprietary software development and are not disposed or allowed to make your work (including your source code) available under the GPL, the commercial licensing option is the better alternative for you.
This license allows you to use the software and all its future enhancements on a limited number of machines for development and deployment. Please keep in mind that you are not allowed to develop proprietary software based on JSwiff without purchasing a commercial license.
